The traditional pelmeni recipe requires 55% of beef and 45% of pork to make pelmeni filling. To make the filling tastier salt, pepper, onion, and garlic are added. When the dough and filling are ready, the pelmeni is boiled and served with a dollop of sour cream and butter (some people like to use butter instead of sour cream).
